Some of My Favorite Tools…
I am often asked when teaching a journaling workshop or intuition coaching session about my favorite tools. Here are some of my favorite tools for Whole Life Journaling and developing your intuition…
FAVORITE JOURNALS
My ALL-TIME favorite journal is the LEUCHTTURM1917 Dotted Journal.
The dots allow you to construct any configuration you choose for your customized Intuition journal. These journals come in multiple colors, different sizes, and even have a handy pocket in the back for storage. The pages are already numbered for you and the marker ribbons allow you to find your place quickly. The one pictured here is Nordic Blue with a Medium Hard Cover and measures 5.75″ X 8.25″.

Another journal I really love and have used in many of my in-person workshops is by ArtFan. Some of my clients say they prefer the ArtFan journal because the pages are a bit thicker than the LEUCHTTURM1917, which can be beneficial if you use your journal for intuitive drawing as well.
Also, this journal is a little more cost-effective, however, you only get 124 pages and I have only seen this journal in the two colors below.
FAVORITE JOURNALING TOOLS & ACCESSORIES
For writing, I love the way these Sharpie pens feel, and I like the way they look when I use them to layout a design or draw in my journal:
This Pen Loop is helpful to have for any journal so you always have a pen handy and comes in several colors:
Why not add some pizazz to your journal?
It can be fun to add a little color to your journal. If you’re not interested in adding anything extra, by all means, skip these tools, but if you decide to try it, here are some of my favorites…
Tombow Dual Brush Art Markers in Pastel Colors
Tombow Dual Brush Art Markers in Bright Colors
Tombow Dual Brush Art Markers in Primary Colors
Staedtler Color Pen Set in Assorted Colors
These handy 6″ rulers fit right in the back pocket of your LEUCHTTURM1917 or Art Fan journal. They also make customizing any notebook much easier.
Bic Wite-Out Correction tape makes covering up mistakes fast and easy
Washi Tape is a fast and easy way to add color to your journal or cover up mistakes. I prefer the 15MM Wide washi tape for lining the edges of the pages in my journal. Here are some of the ones I love to use:
Once I fell in love with using washi tape on my journals, I realized I need storage! This one is pretty handy, however it does not come with the washi tape in it. (I wish!)
Washi Tape, Art Supplies, and Sticker Container Organizer Case
Having a glue stick handy for pasting your calendars, routine records, and images for your visualization board is a great idea.
These stencils are a fun way to add pizzazz to your journal too:
